Run For Hope 2008 is a great way to keep fit and healthy and an excuse for a Sunday morning out with the family.

Since its inception in 1993, Run For Hope has raised over S$3.0 Million for cancer research and attracted over 75,000 runners for this worthy cause. It is reputed to be the single longest running event in support of cancer research in Singapore.

The threat of cancer is very real and the disease accounts for one in three deaths in Singapore with numbers rising significantly each year.

We are confident that Run For Hope will continue to provide a platform to raise awareness for issues relating to cancer, as it has successfully done over the years.

This will include the successful channeling of much needed funds to dedicated cancer research activities in Singapore with the hope that a scientific breakthrough and cure will soon be realized.

The administration of proceeds from Run For Hope 2008 will be undertaken by the National Cancer Centre which will engage their panel of experts to identify and qualify the cancer research activities in need of funding.

Our drive to find a cure for cancer continues into its 16th year. We urge you to donate generously to this important cause and to register yourselves, family and friends for a day of exercise for a worthy cause.
